unable to use delete key while creating new calander entry...

Hi all, I've got a problem with a TX and palm desktop 4.2, when the user tries to use the delete key while creating new appointment entries in his calander he is unable to use the delete key, it works to delete entries. it's a strange error because neither delete key works but only in the new appointment entry.

anyone seen anything like this?

Well assuming you are talking about the on board keyboard on the TX....this makes sense to me. If the user wants to delete a text entry then he/she should use the backspace key and not the delete key. I think we might need some more clarification of the exact steps because I'm not certain that I understand exactly how to recreate this scenario - as described.
 
it's the delete key on the keyboard of the PC, he's basically creating a new diary entry or appointment if you like. using palm desktop prior to a synch. I'm sure you are aware of the layout, see the day, then the time and double click the box to create the appointment. type in the details of the appointment, yes backspace works but the delete key does not. i.e. put the cursor in the middle of a word and try and remove characters to the right of the cursor. I'm not sure how this 'feature' was found but my user wants to know why. Anyone else seen this?
