Unable to book vacation on the Sims 2?

I booked a honeymoon for my sims and then they got married on a community lot and the vacation car came to pick them up but i accidentally sent them home from the community lot in their own car and the vacation car is not at my house waiting for them. i tried to go back to the community lot they got married on but the vacation car was not there. now when i select the phone there is no option to book a vacation. how do i fix it
