Three identical-looking umbrellas are sitting upright in a stand. Assuming that the owners don't check their umbrellas' labels, what percentage chance is there that only two people will walk off with their own umbrella

this riddle cannot be answered! you have told us that there are three identical umbrellas that are sitting upright in a stand. You have not given the information of how many people were at the place where the stand sits. Therefore it is impossible to give a percentage of an unknown amount of people. I think you want me to assume there are three people, one person owns on umbrella, but all the umbrellas could easily belong to one person.

0%

because if 2 people get there umbrella's right then the last person must get there own aswell

33%

because the probibility is 1/3

and only one person will get the right umbrella
