I'm considering adding one or the other to my air gun collection. I'm asking about the CP99 (not compact) and the Umarex CP Sport.
I basically want to know what the difference is between these two, because the Umarex site is pretty light on details, and the online sellers aren't much better. They both are 8 shot clip fed pellet guns powered by a CO2 cartridge mounted in a fake magazine in the grip, and both are licensed look-a-likes to Walther's P99.
Other than that, the CP99 is $80 more. That's about all I could figure out based on online info. What is the difference between these two pistols that makes one $80 more than the other?
