UM UT starcom UM100 EVDO AWS - Question on EVDO speeds after flash

If a user unlocked and reconfigured the AWS- UT starcom UM100 data modem and flashed it to work on another network (ex:Verizon, CDMA carrier etc) would you still achieve EVDO speeRAB if the new network supported EVDO?

We know AWS is backward compatible to CDMA 2000 but is evdo? My guess is yes but can anyone agree or offer other thought?
