Uk N80

Hello, been lurkung here for a while so I hope this is the right place to post this question:

My friend lives in England. He got an N80 phone upgrade from their Orange network. He likes the phone he has and wants to get rid of the N80.

I live here in Toronto. Will The UK N80 phone work here? I know I'll need a new adaptor to charge it and unlocked but it should work here, right?

Any info would be great. Thanks!
 
Hi, welcome to HoFo. Unfortunately, like many BB5 generation Nokia, N80 can't be unlocked (yet) by 3rd party. If it came from Orange, only sure way to unlock it is getting the code from Orange.

BTW, I've moved this thread to Series 60 forum.

I thought about posting this in the S60 thread but thought it was to general. Sorry about that.
