They ( the Royals ) don't want it splashed all over the screen, they want us to think they are like us,
And having it pushed in our faces, HRH The Prince of Wales, or HRH Prince William does not do this.

Because the people of Britain are not thick and can recognise them.
Also the interviewer says their name beforehand.

Why is it that whenever the prime minister, or members of the royal family speak or do an interview on bbc/itv/sky news, wherever, they don't display their name on the screen?

I know it's been happening for years but is it just as simple as a mark of respect? Also, why don't they display the name of the us president Obama either?
