watched last nights documentary on the effect its having or not having to save jobs in the car industry, it seems that most people taking " advantage " of this offer are paying through the nose for the basic price of a new car anyway, as manufacturers have hiked up there prices by an average of £2,000 across the board, so where is the saving ? also most people are opting for Volkswagen's and the german economy is booming from it, are own vauxhall plant came in tenth from ten manufacturers..the uk is propping up the foreign car markets and the only uk jobs it saves are in the showrooms !
