Uh oh, suddenly no service

My 8700g was working fine this morning, now all of a sudden it keeps searching for the network. I tried a battery pull already and yes, my bill is paid Is there a network problem that anyone knows about?

Maybe...this kinda sucks...it's not even showing an available t-mo network like it usually does.

Try a manual network selection. Go into options, advanced options, network , highlight automatic and switch it to manual, scan for availible networks. Hope it helps.

Been there, done that...only showing the att, which it's not connecting to because of no roaming agreement. It usually has both t-mo and att when I switch it to manual selection, but is only showing att right now.

Select ATT and when it gives the error message that it can't connect pull the battery and sim and leave the sim out for at least a minute. put back together and do another manual network selection, if you have tmobiole select it. This does the same thing as thier famous " reset the network from thier end" trick.

Sux. Have you called TMO yet? See if they have tower issues and if they say no, try your sim in another phone. More then likely a tower is down.

Calling them now. Glad I have another cell, but don't have another t-mo phone so I can't try switching the sim card.

Yup...tower out in my area *sniffle* But they are aware of it and are working on it but she couldn't give me any time frame for it to be fixed. Hope it doesn't take long...I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already I think....

Once again though, the customer service lady was great and added some bonus minutes for the inconvenience. Gotta love that...
