Ugh, I'm not seeing the results I want! I just want to give up on exercise!!!?

I've been exercising since summer.
I've gotten so freakin skinny. I think I lost some muscle too. Idk how that's possible!
my arms look anorexic and my bones stick out a lot in my chest and back
my goal was just to lose extra flab and tone up..
NOW I LOOK ANOREXIC. I WANNA look thin,, but HEALTHY..
I keep lifting weights, doing squats, eating lots of protein
but I'm not getting ANY muscle..
I just want to give up! why can't I get any muscle!? what should I do?
 
Monte P is right....... and youve been exercising since summer? Didnt realize it was summer yet.... give it time.... It takes months to put on the littleist amount of "healthy" weight. Its taken me a month to add a lbs to my mass.... and my diet is high calorie/high fat/high protein.
