I know that they're not supposed to delve into the factor of how much I can pay, but based on my dad's income last year, I would be eligible for getting into a UC with a full ride under my grants and the Blue&Gold Opportunity Program.
However, I got rejected from UCLA, UCSD, and UCI. UCLA I could understand, but UCSD and UCI seem a little strange since I have great test scores, a good GPA (chock full of honors/AP), good extracurriculars, and fantastic essays (or so my counselor says).
I'm now wondering if it is because none of the UC's want to pay for my tuition and pull money from their already broke wallets. Can somebody verify this?
