I'm running Ubuntu on my laptop but i'm having trouble loading a lot of different videos.
I have already installed Gnash, swfdec, and Adobe Flash Player, and these videos still will not load..
Youtube works fine, but i'm having trouble with other websites.
.
The video window loads up, but it then displays
a set of symbols
with a circle spinning in the middle
one symbol resembles a thumbtack, one a trianble with a "!" in it,
the other a chain, and another is a "|>" (play symbol)
the circle in the middle spins and spins, but nothing happens
and the video refuses to load..
my Video downloader does not detect a video either, so i cant
download what the video is...
.
I've heard that this is because of flash player software that comes with Ubuntu stopping Adobe from working.
.
If this is the case, can anyone please tell me how to disable it and enable Adobe as my primary flash player?
.
Or if there is another solution to the problem, i'd appreciate someone telling me.
.
Any other suggestions would be helpful...
