tried flashing a u240 using instrutions i found here and other site. used s-pst lite to flash cricket bin file. after s/w flash, phone has no ESN nor PRL.

Comp will not recognize the phone no matter what i do now. no other software can find it. under device manager, it shows under usb and also modems but no longer in ports list.

Here is the solution for a u340 with no pri and no esn after flash!

Then use Unicdma or Cdmaworkshop to change the esn to the one under the battery and then use QPST to write the prl.

After punching in the first string, it brings up a "Test PCS" screen. cant really punch anything else in.

any ideas? i have tried searching. nothing will read the phonbe. no longer in ports list
 
strill trying- codes are not really doiung anything. I can write the ESN using UniCDMA, and can write the PRL (supposeldy) using PSTlite, but after the phone reboots there is no PRL on the phone.

any ideas? I've searched aimlessly. Seems that Uni is writing the correct ESN /SPC to the phone, but then in the ##626* menu the SPC that was written is not working....

1 phone i did last night is working properly, but this second u340 is giving me a headache...
 
in case anyone else runs into this issue, heres what I did.

changed a few settings in UniCDMA and re-wrote the esn a second time. Then went to S-PST and wrote a 1050 PRL to the phone. The 1050 stuck, so then I reloaded the 1040 PRL and things seem to be working.

Now, onto setting the WAP and MMS to work once they are activcated.

Thanks for the help. A few select people here have written awesome tutorials and provided info for the issues I ran into.
