...prosecution? This is a topic that will be decided by the US Supreme Court this month (June 2008). The issue stems from a domestic violence dispute. The woman was killed by her live-in boyfriend; he said he did it in self-defense.

While there was no argument that taped calls to 9-1-1 and testimony from police were accurate, rather the defendant (the guy who killed his girlfriend) argues that it was unconstitutional to use as evidence, because he was not able to face his accuser and have her cross-examined by his defense attorney. [Of course not - she was dead.]

Any opinions here?
