Forestland = forest.
And I highly doubt forests were abundant. A plain is a vast expanse of land that is usually very flat and doesn't have much woods.
So, without actually knowing the material you've been taught, I can assume the answer is false.

Question:

Is forestland the same thing as forest?? I have a question on my homework that asks

"With forestland abundant on the Plain, most settlers built their homes out of woods."

The question is wanting to know whether the sentence is true or false, and the word abundant is in wuestion. In my boodk it says that forests were scarce, so is the sentence false??

Thanks in advance...
