I'm trying to contract in Army ROTC. It is required to have a civilian physical to participate in PT and Lab. When I took the physical, I was told I had an arrhythmia and that I should get an electrocardiograph. When I took this test, it was found that I have a cardiac arrhythmia.
From what I can gather from AR 40-501, it is my understanding that this is disqualifying. However, I'm still scheduled to get a military physical done anyway.
Does anybody know if there is the possibility to obtain a waiver for this? Has anybody heard of a similar occurrence?
