First off, let me say that I have a lot respect for Chile. They are a great team in my opinion. Their A team is great and their B team team is also very promising. I think they proved themselves when they qualified 2nd place after Brazil in the South American world cup qualifiers last term beating out teams like Uruguay and Argentina. They also proved it again in the world cup reaching the 2nd rd.

I wont say the U.S. had a great performance but they didn't have a weak performance either. Chile has some great possession and technical skill. They impressed me. The U.S. had some impressive performers as well and seeing them come from behind was interesting.

Players who impressed me:
Gonzalez (was solid the 1st half. I think he should have done the 90)
Ream (solid 90 min. nice sharp passing. a couple of mistakes but overall great game)
loyd (this kid has come out of nowhere. really impressed me with his battling, speed and passing)
Dax (surprisingly impressive. held his own and battled for every ball in the midfield)
Bunbury (pretty good job on the penalty and gave the Chile defense all kinds of fits)
Agudelo (nice dribbling and passing. changed the game when he came in. provoked the penalty and saved the U.S.'s bacon)

I have a 2 way tie for Man of the match for the U.S. (agudelo and dax)

Weak performers:
Mix (dude sucked. sorry to put it so harshly. kept losing the ball)
wynne (FLOP of the match) is it even surprising?
Larentowitz (mediocre)
