Last week I bought an external hard drive for my computer (Windows XP). The software seemed to mess everything up on my computer. It did not recognize the usb port that I plugged it into. I've since deleted. I'm trying to sync my Palm TX now and it won't sync. A balloon at the bottom of the screen came up once that said it recognized new hardware. But the rest of the times, it does notrecognize it nor can I sync. I've reinstalled my palm software twice. Any suggestions? Oh yeah, the software for the hard drive is not showing in my registry. So that can't be the problem.
