TX Lost Addit!!!

Hey guys, need some help.

By error I uninstalled addit from my device, (TX) so I downloaded the software from the palm page and installed it again, no problem with the wireless sync, but... when trying a hotsync it didn't even make a connection with the server. What should I do to fix the problem? is there some way to save all my contents, uninstall the Palm desktop, make a full clean install and later recover my actual configuration and data? It would be an enormous lost of time if my data and installed applications would be erased...

If a wireless sync worked but you can't sync with the cable, it could mean that your cable is the problem. You might also want to check the configurations of both your PC and TX to make sure they are communicating properly. Finally, you can always try a soft reset, which should retain all the data currently on your TX. You mean you didn't delete AnnoyIt...I mean, Addit on purpose? ;)

One thing to note -- if you do a hard reset, Addit will show back up on your T|X. It's on the ROM and will reinstall itself if you do a hard reset. Theoretically, all you'd have to do then is do a Hotsync with your PC, and all your data, etc., would come back and AddIt would be back in it's original form.

Personally, I don't like it. After having to hard reset my T|X in the beginning a couple of times because I installed incompatible apps, I was getting rather annoyed when Addit kept reappearing after I so carefully deleted it.
