TX good?

I'm a college student with a broken laptop with no repair from IBM in sight, so I'm thinking about getting a TX for basic web use and e-mail while at school. Can I use the TX without sync'ing to a computer? Also my school network uses WPA Encryption with EP-TLS authentification, will the wireless on the TX work with this?

Out of the box the TX won't work but with the aid of: this addition you should be able to access your campus network. The price is a mere $5.99 so you'll have to save that much to add to your budget.

You should also save up your money for the Palm universal keyboard and printing software. With them and the PDA you have a sub mini laptop. The TX is a great device.
