I am new to PDA's have have recently bought a TX for business use. I want to use the Delorme Atlas 2007 software for GPS use. I have a gps module which supposedly works with Palm OS 5.0 and above but I can not get the software to show up on the TX from my SD card. Here is the GPS module I bought.

I have synched it to my SD card and it show as being there from my laptop but does not show up as being on the card on my TX. How do I transfer the data from my laptop to my TX?

I want to use Delorme Atlas 2007 for my mapping program. How do I transfer the data to my TX? Anyone use this program? I have heard some good things about it and am looking forward to using it if I can get my GPS to work.

Did you install the software? Software installation confused me at first. If you do not know, you need to install the software in PalmDesktop and then it installs to the PDA upon the next HotSync.

Good luck.

The auction listing states that maping software was not included. DeLorme is for a laptop/desktop, it is not TX compatable for use with a GPS reciever. It will save maps you lookup on your laptop or desktop to a Palm but it will not function with the GPS receiver.

Actually, SA 2007 includes a PDA componant, similar to the previously marketed SA 2006 Hand Held version. However, I would look at Delorme's forums to see if you can find any info about this type of GPSr and their software.
