TX cradle light

Hi,

So the TX has this fancy useless backlight within the cradle itself. I noticed when I left my office (and it was completely dark !!!!!) that the light never goes off. Is it suppose to? Won't that wear out fairly quickly?

Even better yet, the power light on the TX doesnt go on when it is charging either on the cradle or the plug-in charger. When I plug mine in at night on the charger (not the cradle) I have no way of knowing if it is charging, even if it is really plugged in. That is, until I turn it on in the morning and one day find it dead. The T3 used to light up when it was plugged in and/or charging, as did all the ones before.
 
I guess that is what I was trying to say. There is no way to tell if you are plugged in, more less charging. It is just a leap of faith. There is no light, no cutesy icon (well except the lightning bolt on the battery icon) to let you know it is really charging. And even that one doesn?t help if you use a hard case, as I do. The light on the T3 did a marvelous job of keeping you informed. Where is it on the Tx. Oh well, such is progress.
