Two usercontrols, one updates the other with ajax (asp.net)?

I have an aspx page with two usercontrols

In the first one I have a button.
I need that when the button is being clicked the second user control in the aspx page will refresh with loading image.

its like the first uc is search panel and the second user control is the results.

I've been looking for a solution for days, please help.
