i have a 97 toyota tacoma, (it's a 5 speed manual) and lately it has been
doing something unusual. it doesn't do this all the time,
but sometimes when i accelerate it kind of
hesitates for a split second. and when this happens it kind of jerks. i am
not a mechanic but i do know a little and to me it kind of feels like the
transmission is slipping. could this be the problem? what else can make
this sort of thing happen? perhaps it simply needs a new fuel filter?
also i want to put a flowmaster exhaust on it. can anyone tell me about
how much this should cost me? parts/ labor? how much horsepower gain?
