Two part question about BAH in the army.?

New member
First of all... is my wife my dependent on my BAH? because I looked up my BAH total and its $1533 with dependents and $1150.00 without.

Second question.
Does the BAH add on to my base pay?


These are dumb questions I know, but I'm just clarifying.
