Losing a friend

That day dawned with sunshine bright
But my heart knew aught but darkness
I rose and dressed, shone outward
Inside I cringed in shadows

That day was to be special
For one great was to meet us
He spoke of things that ruin the world
But not of which that tore the soul

He spoke how the white triumph the black
But not how to cleanse my inky heart
He told us how to gain world peace
But not of that of the soul

He left after a few hours
But what was to happen will stay forever
We went back to our classes
But my heart wished to soar above all

She then uttered the dreadful words
One which will torment me for months to come
She told me without meeting my pained eyes
“I don’t think we can be friends anymore.”

I replied with a feeble nod
One that spoke many things
I turned away to wipe my tears
Only to find that they would never stop

I cried for days more to come, for
Loneliness can be a dreadful disease
I weeped and moped and pined for love
For I didn’t have a shoulder to lean on

I prayed and willed everyday that
All that happened was a fearful dream
And that I would wake up the next day
Find her smiling, waiting for me

Months passed and I realized
That life was far from dreadful
I took pleasure in small joys of life
And learnt to live without her.

the nxt one

As I lie, comfortable in my warm bed
I wait to see the rays of the sun
I let my thoughts wander to last nights deeds
Her screams her soft skin,I remember, I wish to run

Why oh! God does he win over me
Where has gone my pity, my empathy
To tear one so loved from her familys midst
I should be damned to hells deepest pit

But when the golden rays warm my face
I leave my hearth to face the cold world
As I think of the day ahead of me
I know the drama will once more be unfurled

For tonight one more will die to satisfy
His hunger , one the never ends
For inside me resides a monster
To whom my body sometimes I lend

this is a poem about a serial killer
