In a lab I performed two different tests. One was the magnesium ribbon flame test, where the magnesium ribbon was held over a bunsen burner and a white flame appeared. I cannot figure out the molecular equation as well as the net ionic equation of it.

The second reaction was H2O2 in KMnO4. I'm just completely stumped on this one. I know though that O2 was a product and possibly H2, but nothing else.

So.. yeah. Molecular and net ionic equations... I don't know what they are for these two reactions.
