my cat gave birth to a litter of six kittens two days ago, and i peeked my head into my closet to check on them and one of them had a wound on the back of its neck. it was straight and wrapped around the whole back of its neck, and the skin underneath it is exposed and bloody, and its open. i cant get it to close because he moves his head and it opens again, and im scared it wont heal.
also, the other kittens keep scrabbling over him and knocking him down, and their paws get stuck in his wound so i keep having to pull them out. it hurts him. my mommy cat wont do anything to stop any of it. she just lies there and lets it happen.
what do i do? its not fatal, its just a little bloody and it causes him a lot of pain. my mom wont let me take him to the vet because she doesnt want to pay for it. im so scared its going to get infected and hell die.
