Does anyone else love this film? One of the best British films ever made in my opinion, the plot is amazing, its funny as hell and the Lewis twins are f***ing legenRAB!! :D

I think it's hilarious, especially as it's my home town and I recognise many of the stereotypes.

I particularly like the scene where the old lady asks for a taxi :D

Great film, have it on video but still watch it when it's on Sky.

Some great trivia from it as well

William Thomas who played Bryn Cartwright is only one of 5 actors to appear in classic and new Doctor Who.

Brian Hibbard who played Karaoke King Dai Reece, was in the Flying Pickets.

The Lewis Twins are real life brothers - but not twins, and Rhys Ifans who was Jeremy Lewis (and Spike in Notting Hill) was the original lead singer in Super Furry Animals.

Watch out for Martin Ace as the Rockin' Sikh. Martin is the bass player in Welsh Rock legenRAB Man who are now approaching their 40th anniversary as a group.

Dougray Scott, who played the corrupt copper Terry Walsh had a recurring role in Desperate Housewives. He was also cast as Wolverine in the orignal XMen film but was doing Mission Impossible II and had to relinquish the role.

As for the old man and the dog with the doctored Hot Dog - that is Keith Allen, father of Lily and the Sherrif Of Nottingham in the recent BBC series.

The whole thing was directed by Keith's brother Kevin Allen.

I bought it on DVD and I did not like it.

Just some air head twins making havoc in Swansea.

And the finishing was lame they dump someone's body in the water and then the Super Furry Animal music hit.

It came off as a less than Trainspotting.

It's not a bad movie but it could have been better and more funner.

Rachle Scorgie who played the Lewis Twins Sister Adie almost got the role of playing Kat in Eastenders. But it was turned down for Jessie but she soon had a small role on the Bill.Sue Roderick had a small stint in Cornation Street in 1989 as Megan Morgan and Welsh play A Mind too kill what was on S4C.

The stereotypes are so true!
I live in Swansea and I remember the buzz about it being filmed.
My neighbours were extras in the dogs funeral scene and my partners sister was involved in the nightclub fight scene.
The curry house used was at the bottom of the street where I used to live......they do a fantastic eat as much as you like!!
