Twin boys named after sports stars?

My best friend wants to name her twin boys
Derek Mason (after Derek Jeter)
and
Daniel Colt (after Daniel "Colt" McCoy)
What do you think about the names? She already has a baby girl named Audrey, so it would be Audrey, Derek and Daniel.
As the godmother-to-be Avery asked me to ask for opinions, so I came to you guys! Do you like the names individually, as a twin set, and as a sibling set with Audrey? If you could tell me why you like/dislike it we would be eternally in your debt.
This is my own question, do you think it is weird to name your children after celebrities/sports stars?
Be honest, I'm not going to tell Avery I asked this :)
 
I think it's fine. Those are both good solid names. Now, if she wanted to name them Jeter and McCoy, that may be pushing it too far.
