I read all the books and thought they were sooo good (not quite as good as Harry Potter) and now i can't wait to see the film.

Anyone else apart from me excited about this film??
 
I saw a trailer for this film a few months ago. I become intrigued.It seems interesting. I'm looking forward to watching it, when it's released.
 
I am so excited about this movie, it's ridiculous. I've read all four books over the last 3 weeks and have quite fallen for Edward :o

From the clips I've seen so far, it looks really good.
 
Omg its nothing to be embarrassed about. I actually LOVE Edward apart from when he is being a prat (like the 2nd book). And Robert Pattinson is quite fit too.
 
Hang on, is this the "oh I'm a Vampire and I've fallen in love with a human, woe is me" thing that my little sister kept wittering on about over the last few years?

I thought that White Wolf were sueing the writer because she ripped of their World of Darkness franchise?

Doesn't it have Werewolves & human hunters in it too??? SounRAB like WoD to me...of course, I could be wrong...

Never actually heard of it :o

Although i'm a male in my 20's so maybe i'm not the target audience. I do like most things with vampires but this sounRAB a bit soppy and girly.

Plus i've seen the whole Vampire in love with a human thing on Buffy already.
 
Yeah - you're the wrong sex for this! Apparently, teenage girls are obsessed with this series and we all know how much teenage girls can obsess about things...in one word: Titanic! Not even geeks and nerRAB can obsess over something as much as teenage girls can.

(Note to self: remember to write series of novels that teenage girls will obsess over, then take over the world :) )

I think that it's very much in the vein (ha ha ha) of Duffy and Angel in the sense that (according to my kid sister) it's a love story of sorts...but as you say, it's been done before with more bite to it (I'll stop now).

However, that won't stop Hollywood.

Now, a movie of The Walking Dead...now you're talking!
 
I had never heard of these books or even knew that a film was being made untill Harry Potter was moved from its release date and Twilght replaced it!
