Ok so I just bought the movie this weekend and saw it for the first time. Everyone I talked to said the movie was great so it was probably too built up. But there just some things I didn't like.
First of all I really thought Bella in the movie was really different from the book. ( That could just be my interpretation of her.) But for someone who really keeps to herself and is very non-dramatic, in the movie she made a lot of really dramatic facial expressions. Like she was over acting a bit. Did anyone else think so?
I also felt like they left out SO many details of the book. (I know that movies have to do that) But they didn't describe how his skin was like marble or that when she lay on him it was so cold. I also COMPLETELY forgot that Edward could read minds. I think they should have added more of that as well.
I really feel like they should have narrated the movie. That would have given the viewer the depth of the book. It would have explained what she was feeling, and all the details that made the book soooo good. It just seemed weird in the movie that she was all of a sudden in love with him and in the book when Edward is angry with her for trusting him and angry with himself for continuing to see her and put her in danger in the movie it just seemed like he was just mad and sort of a jerk.
Just curious if anyone else thought that too. Or didn't. I'd like to hear other people's thoughts. Thanks.
