tweeters on toyota tacoma?

i want to put after market speakers and tweets in my 2009 toyota tacoma. i got wire harnesses for the speakers and they plug in fine and work. but i cant figure out the tweeter. how do i wire the tweet? do i need to cut the wires or something? i would rather not do any cutting.
