yes i believe it's free (it'll have commercials in it, like regular tv, but i think it's like tivo so you can FF them ). i just hope they have HD channels that i don't already get

If you order IPTV (tv over the phonelines) then its free. Basically, instead of using a cable box to watch IPTV you'll be able to use your xbox360. You'll still have to pay for IPTV from your local telephone provider.
