I have my computer displayed on a Sony TV. I recently had updated my NVidia 8600 driver, and am now experiencing probelms running Risk II.
When I set resolutions through the windows display settings, most of the time the screen is either stretched across the TV outside its borders, or within a box on a black screen.
The only way to set a accurate resolution is set manual markers in the NVidia control, and it comes out around 1776 x 996,
But after that is adjusted, when I start game, they revert to displaying within a black box.
This didn't happen before I updated my driver. and If I try to run in 800 x 600 res. it only show a small box.
Then the NVIDIA corners markers are adjusted and its set back to 1776 x 996 again.
How can I set my display at 1776 x 996 normally, and get my game to display its 800 x 600 on my full TV
