Turtle Beach Xbox headset?

I have a xbox headset that won't register my voice. I can hear the audio and can hear my friends but I cannot respond. Help
I've had them for a couple of months. Also they don't have support besides email. just wondering if i should by a new mic plug in for it
 
Lol you payed ALOT of money for something that doesnt work.

I honestly don't know because its a turtle beach and i never had one.

Call their support. They'll probably help.
