i want a vintage schwinn stingray bike (or something similar) but i don't have the funds to buy one or have one refurbished. i would be cool with putting a banana seat, ape hangers, and a sissy bar on any kind of adult-sized bike. maybe a road/ mountain bike or cruiser. is this even possible? does anyone have any suggestions or pointers? i'm not looking to resell, just want an inexpensive ride to work (and relive my youth a little bit). thanks.
