....Without additional software on your computer.

Most of you will probably say Card Export 2  If it wasnt for the fact that you need to install extra software

BUT i like this one http://www.mobile-stream.com/ 'Card Reader'

It doesn't require any software to be installed on the computer. So it works like the T|5 Would or a normal USB flash drive, plug it into any computer and bang, start using it.

I want to know if there are any programs (possibly freeware?) that are similar.
This one works a treat and also has a 'background mode', which allowes you to have it in USB mode but you can still press the 'home' icon and do what you want.

well it seems I must have missed something because the last time I used card export you had to install extra software on the computer to run it

Well not that long ago i thought that was how it worked but i plugged it into another computer when i was away and it said 'hotsync software not detected' or something.

And if i remember right, i had to install a program ontop of 'hotsync' to make it work.

Camski, was it a PC running XP or Win98? WinXP natively recognizes a USB MSD (mass storage device), but Win98 does not. So on Win98 you have to install an additional driver. At least that is the way it works with my thumb drives, and I think Card Export II emulates an MSD.

Cheers,
John
