turn signals relocation

Hope someone can help with this problem. I have a C50T with the light bar that came with the C50T. I recently added new MC Engine Guards to the bike and now I have a turning problem. Both front turn signal lights hit the bar if I turn left or right sharply. Also I cannot turn to the left far enough to lock the handle bars. Is there a way to shorten the neck on the turn signals or to move them forward an inch or so. Any help or suggestions will be truly appreciated.

I had the MCE bars installed along with the OEM lightbar before taking possession of my C50. The same problem showed up, and the mechanic asked what I wanted to do. I had him drill the sides of the lightbar and mount the signals there - horizontally. This solves the clearance problem, and it makes the bike look wider - hopefully increasing visibility!

Thanks Zoe,
I didn't want to go that direction so I found another way. On the bottom of the light bar there are actually two holes. I moved the turn signals to the forward holes giving me almost 3/4 of an inch more clearance. The turn signals still hit the engine guards, but they hit very low on them and so they ( the turn signals ) just slip below the bars without any problem, thus giving me the full turning ability plus locking the bike up. You need to know that to do this job, I had to take a drummel tool and cut between the holes so I could slip the wire between the holes and not have to disconnect the wireing. Everthing went fairly smooth and I'm happy with the results.
