Turn off screen touches temporarily ?

I wonder if there is a way (or already some sort of enhancement utility out there) that would allow for screen touches to go unrecognized between certain hours. I have a T3 and have it set to do it?s auto functions (such as Backup, store messages to the card, etc?) at night. Problem is, I think that because of my case and the way it touches the screen, it is canceling itself out and none of the activities get accomplished.

Any ideas?
