Turn a Classic into a classic

J & P Cycles has them (Early Fender Lights) on the bottom right hand side of this page:

http://www.jpcycles.com/catalog/2009HarleyCatalog/?catalogpage=929&section=21 Fenders

The part # in J & P is 381-398 - front light w/wires and Hardware. They also make one that is a show part w/no wires #230-646.

Now, you be careful drilling holes in that pretty fender.

Many Thanks. Another trinket to sneak in under the radar of SWMBO.

For you young guys out there...

I've got the HD SE touring mufflers (slip-ons) and HD fishtail tips on my bike. I bought the bike in 2004 when it was 2 years old and the pipes were already on it so I don't have a before/after history with the bike to help. I'm running a stock 88 TC on my RKC and I'm quite happy with it...I don't feel I need the extra punch to do a lot of performance upgrades...though new cams may be in order next winter.

The H-D touring mufflers are only a bit louder than stock - 3dB more according to the numbers - but the more closed off end-caps, like my sharkfins, make less noise than the opened up caps.

SuperTrapp is the supplier for H-D's touring mufflers - you might want to check them out for more choices of end-caps to fit the style of your classic

edit:
CAUTION: With one wrong step in their vicinity, fishtails and sharkfins will remove the flesh from your shin in the shape of the muffler's tip (don't ask how I know or how many beers). Classic riders bear these scars with pride...
