Tungsten T3 internet

I've been using my Tungsten T3 for years now and love it. My laptop is currently in the shop and probably going to cost more than it's worth so I need an alternative for internet access. I pay bills online, check my bank account, etc. Can't live without it.

I don't know much about the palm and internet access. I've thought about purchasing the Wi-Fi card. But then my question is this - I have Verizon DSL at home. Do I need to do or buy anything else other than the Wi-Fi card to get on the internet? We have a router already. My laptop ran wirelessly. So that part is covered. I don't want to purchase or use a bluetooth compatible cell phone and pay extra for internet access. I want to go about this as inexpensively as possible. We're on a very tight budget.

Am I going about this correctly, am I missing anything, any experience with the Wi-Fi card? Any anything else you can add would be greatly appreciated. :)

If your Verizon DSL also comes with a dial-up # you may want to try a modem for your T3. They're cheaper than a WiFi card (under $20 on E-Bay), but also a lot slower. I've used one for surfing and e-mail. E-mail's fine, but surfing can be a drag.
