This is probably a long shot, but here goes:

I have the T|X and Agendus Pro for the Palm. I want to be able to use the phone dialer in Agendus to dial the number on a Bluetooth compatible phone. Is anyone doing this? Any idea if this will work, and on what models of phone? Do I have to install an SMS driver and do I have to have a driver specific to the phone I will use?

It will depend upon the upon the phone. Agendus will use the default driver that's on the TX so it won't be an issue.

You'll need to verify that the dialer works with the phone and all should be good.

There are secondary programs that can be purchased that will sometimes work when Palm hasn't yet supplied a driver for a phone - you can check those out at palmgear.

But you should really stipulate which phone you plan on using and then see if someone has a similar config to get the real good answer.
 
You need to use PhoneLink to bond your Palm and phone. PhoneLink will walk you throught a wizard to set up communication between the devices. Do you have a phone? What model is it? You might want to take a look at the list of supported phones at Palm's web site. If the phone is not on the list, you will need to try a third party application such as Connection Manager Deluxe, which has support for more phones than PhoneLink. Once the communication is set up between the Palm and the phone, you can select your communication programs.

Agendus has some options to choose what SMS and email apps you want to use. Agendus Pro comes with Agendus Mail, which does both email and SMS. Agendus will let you select any SMS and email program you have installed on your device. The Palm Dialer app is also supported in Agendus.

To set the options, do the following in Agendus:

1. Menu-->Options-->Preferences
2. Select Miscellaneous from the list at the upper right of the screen.
3. Under Communication Settings, you can select the applications you want to use.
4. Tap Apply and OK.
