While repairing my tungsten t I noticed that with the button cable attached and the unit closed the stylus and digitizer don't function. Slide the unit open and it functions. I exchanged the slide out portion with another tungsten I had for parts.
Now it works with the slide open or closed- my question mainly would be to confirm that this would be a button ribbon cable problem-- if I used that part for another tungsten it would have the same problem? Or just swapping ribbons work?
I suppose best is trial and error
