Tuition Reimbursement Policy?

My company's tuition reimbursement plan has a cap of $2,000 per 12-month period and if you don't stay with the company at least 12 months after completion of the course you repay in full.
I am in the second semester of a two-year degree. That money just about covers my tuition and books from the Fall. This will also leave me ineligible to reapply until Feb '10.
Is $2,000 per 12-month period and a 1-year obligation standard? Is it worth it?
