my daughter recently got arrested for shoplifting two bottles of alcohol and she had marijuana and a pipe in her purse which was her friends, but she was still charged for it because it was in her possesion. She was arrested and charged with Two Class 6 Felonies and 1 Misdemeanor. She doesnt have a record, has never been in trouble with the law, and gets good grades in school. Today I recieved a letter with PROBATION stamped on the envelope and information about her meeting with a Probation officer next month. Does this mean that she doesnt have to go to court and will just be put on prbation and possibly community service?
