...blood test done last week.? My test was negative. so my doc said is was ok to keep trying. I have not gotten my period yet but, she prescribed Provera for my to take for 5 days. should I have waited longer to see if my cycle would start on its own? I have irregular periods but I did concieve my oldest on this same medicine. this is my 3rd day taking it. does anyone have any idea if i at least might be successful. i am aslo taking B6 as well as my prenatal vitamins. i have the herbs chasetberry, dong quai to take when my cycle does come. sorry i have so many questions

You said you conceived your last child on that very same medicine. So... I'd say your odds for success are pretty fair. If you're TTC, it's just so much less stressful when you have regular periods! That way, at least you have more chances in a given year and your cycles are easier to track. So, so, so many women on YA get so frustrated when they only ovulate 3 times a year and take longer to get pregnant. We just have to remember that the average woman ovulates 12 times a year. So someone with irregular cycles may take longer.
