Don't get me wrong, I am so glad that the TTC and other ontario bus companies have implemented bike racks onto the bus now, but you know this was happening in new york almost 10 years ago right? I think it was around the year 2000 when New York put the bike racks onto all of the buses. It seems like Toronto is doing it now because of the raised awareness about global warming, not because the increase in percentage of cyclists.
Since the 90's there have been tons of cyclists downtown and now while i do agree there is a bit more, I still think this bike rack thing could of been implemented a long time ago. Anyways I am glad to see it, but a little frustrated that New York has had it for basically 10 years now, it took us so damn long to follow the yanks, lol.
