TT3 - four small screws missing

I have now lost all four of the tiny screws at the base of my T3 (two on each of the outside edges of the slider). Does anyone have any idea where I can get more of these (in the UK)?

You can order the screws from Palm in the UK. OTOH, you don't really need them. A small dab of super glue in the openings will do the same job as the screws.

Here's where some of us over at the rabroad Forum get our T3 screws. You can even get gold-plated if you choose. His service is great and the screws work perfectly.

Thanks to everyone for replies.

I have now noticed that the front panel on the slider (covering the buttons and the nagivation pad) has buckled. This probably happened during the same fall that despatched the last screw!

Where can I submit my T3 for repair in the UK? I know PalmOne will service it themselves for ?100+ - are there any other locations?

I lost two right screws when I dropped my unit. Did not notice it till much later when the bottom part started to get loose.

I called PalmOne Hotline (based in Singapore) and they did not have those parts in stock. My unit is outside the warranty period and, funny, they offered to replace my unit at $125 charge. But I said I'll wait. They promised to send me the parts free in January, or as soon as it becomes available.

But you know what? I went to the store where I bought my unit and they gave me the screws on their dummy T3 display unit (exact parts) and my problem was solved.

Do you see any dummy display units in any store?. I'm sure they will not mind giving you the screws.

How do you email Palm UK?

their suport page seems to be throwing me around lots of different pages but none gives me an easy way to email them and tell them I want to order some screws for my T3??
