i'm writing a book about a 13 yr old girl and her dad is an alcoholic, her brother is a drug addict, and her mom is an under reactive (does that even make sense?) therapist. Can anyone give me some ideas that i can add into the plot. Also, if anyone has read the book Lush by Natasha Friend, can you give me some advice on how to keep my story original and separate from the plot from Lush? thanks.
